with the covid positive cases that came up to Armidale before the infections really took off, we never got a listing of any exposure sites. We had to rely on local gossip to find out locations.

We contacted our local member ages ago (current initial outbreak and last outbreak in Syd,) and suggested that greater Sydney be cutoff from rural and regional areas, during an outbreak. Our member (nationals) replied that it wasn't possible to stop people from coming into rural areas.

@aussiebattler96 Yeah the excuse they gave wass that they wouldn't have enough police to surround all the towns, I was stunned because it's obvious you would put them around Sydney, not the towns. Wouldn't stop everyone, but given we had people coming up here for UNI and school (who came from the origin points of the outbreak) and didn't have to isolate we were very lucky.

@gregf4170 Prior to lockdown, prior to more than 30 cases a day. They were listing all Sydney sites and after 4 days listed exposure sites in Tamworth. Guyra was only included under lockdown in the statewide thing wasn't it?
