  1. I tried to get into Rust and found it way too overcomplicated. To write safe C++ to the same level that rust does is pretty straight forward (vectors etc.). Besides which, how many times did you have to use the unsafe option in RUST to do basic things and that kinda defeats the purpose of the language. I haven't tried GO. I kinda enjoyed x86 ASM but it took ages to do simple programs users could interact with. For RAD development (with GUI) I like C#/Blazor although the tooling around blazor still sucks, but hybrid is pretty nifty. Going to give Zig a go at some point.
