If you jail the chickens in order to protect them from the wild birds you would do the same bad things your own industrialized country does to your own chickens.  The point is that these islanders have for a long time learned to adapts to nature and live of the organic, non endangered sustainable sources around them.

Yes, their food is far more eco friendly than any industriaslized food that all leaves a huge CO2 footprint, and where you do not just kill a few hundred of a family of pigs or chickens now and than, but kill a whole generation of chickens every 4 to 7 weeks.  Killing a few hundred whales, that in a year amounts to less than 0.01 down to 0.001 of a population that reproduces 2.5 up to 3.5 % annually is sustainable and does not hurt the whole population.

Some of the smartest animals in the world is also a bird, the African Grey Parrot.  So what is it? Are all birds dumb, or are all birds intelligent? The same goes for whales. They are not one specie. Whales is a name for a group of species which has over 100 different subspecies. Some of them are listed among the very intelligent animals we have on the planet. But if you google animal smart lists you will see that among the many lists only the bottlednosed dolphin rank among the top intelligent animals in the world. Over 90% of all other whale species do not even make it into top 100. Should one than not say that all whales are stupid? Or should one not just say that among the intelligent animals we have on this planet is the bottlednosed dolphin.. among with the pig that is often ranked higher than any whale, yet you gladly kill every pig in your country for fun and money. They have never beeen endangered and they are classified as "Most likely to remain so" by the experts and scientists within this field: NAMMCO, UICN That is back up by almost 500 years of statistics. There simply is not other wildlife animal better documented. So it is fair to state that pilot whales are not and will not get extinct. What is though endangered is comons sense and people with a critical sense who do some fact checking before jumping to conclusions.

Even smaller carbon foot print than most vegans, as vegans in most parts of the world live in areas where most of their food has to be transported far distances before they can consume. And this transport causes so much pollution, that is contributes to the fact that these islanders that strive to eat local & organic food, have difficulties continuing their lifestyle that is far more in balance with nature than any industrialized lifestyle.

Some are, yes, but actually most are not (if you look at the specie names, not the total numbers)

You talk about whales and whales being endangered in the same ways has newspapers for decades have repeaded the misleading statement that "whales are endangered" without realizing that whales is not one specie but a group of over 100 different species where most of these species have never been endangered. The reality is that some of the large species have been over hunted in the old days, but the majority of whale species are actually classified as being small in size but not in numbers, and among the whale species that are not endangered, never been, and are classified by UICN and more as being "most likely to remain so". There is a reason no whaling expert takes Sea Shepherd or its supporters serious when you over and over again proof how loosely you take facts, numbers and reality.  There are also bird species that are and/or have been endangered, but you do not hear the common man or newspapers state that birds, as in All Birds, are endangered, because that not in link with reality. But most people are clueless about whales and repeat a propaganda that has never been insync with real facts and reality. Yes, there have been, and still are whale species that are endangered and need protection, but to mix that talk with talk about a specie that is not, never been, and is classified as being most likely never endangered, is stupid and only shows lack of respect for reality.  Cut the crap and stick to facts. Other wise no well informed people will ever take you or Sea Shepherd serious. If you haven´t figured out why so many people think you and SS are stupid, than look for how losely you trow around with numbers and misleading facts.

What I did was to point out that you walk over very loosely over the therm "Whales", where you claim whales, as in all whales, are endangered, Which is misleading, and actually wrong. The definition of what is a whale covers almost 100 species and while some of them are endangered (I never said the opposite) the fact remains that many of them, the majority actually, are not endangered. That is a simple fact. Saying that does not mean I am not aware or concerned about the state of whales and especially those that are endangered, but I am sick and tired of these numbnuts that keep repeating the misleading headlines that "whales", as in "all whales" are endangered, since that is simply not true. Birds, as in all bird species, are not endangered just because a few of the species are. But you who so many times made it so obvious you do not care about facts is most likely gonna continue your misleading propaganda. That seems to be the spirit of any Sea Shepherd supporter: to mislead.

  30. Like most people these natives also like to eat a variety of foods, including chickens and pigs. The difference is though that they prefer to catch their own food them selfs and prefer that most of their meat is local, organic and not something that has been enslaved all its life and killed for money.
