  2. the context is the father sometimes kept the pistol under the pillow or in the nightstand for easy access... well doesn't take a curious kid to just look around teh parents room when mom and dad aren't around and stumble upon this gun. and let's say parents read about george reeeves live show as superman think why don't itake the boy to the show for some fun. kid has bright idea why don't i shoot superman pick up the pistol from dad's night stand or under the pillow obviously dad wouldn't notice until night time when he's going to sleep so fast forward to this scene parents are probably standing to the side watching their boy go up to superman maybe for autograph but see their boy pull out a revolver pointing it at george... dad is probably thinking to himself....hmmm that gun looks a lot like the pistol under my pillow.... and immediately thinks shit. so george is able to talk kid down and nothing happens and obviously mom and dad would go and apologize to george take kid home to be spanked punished grounded for ...months at least.
