you know the most basic explanations to why its getting harder to find jobs now for people. 1.) it's a global pool now. you have people from all over the world coming to the us to find work too.. a lot of times they're willing to work for cheap compared to the locales. 2.) automation 3.) economic cycles that make companies pull back fast and slow to rehire. 4.) job growth has to be higher than population growth we will need to create 2.40 million jobs annually in order to keep up with population growth 5.) there are less startups than before with more companies going out of business at the same time 6.) companies hire a lean force no excess 7.) companies are not shy about reducing their workforce fast.
