if we look at mao he lasted until he was 83... so i would say give this guy another 10-15 years.

basically if you want videos on china better have them done by chinese people that have lived in china under xi. that's hte only way you could have a raw from the source video. because anyone from the outside making videos on china... it's hit or miss at best. i mean if hte gov with all its resources can't get it right... what chance does a man with a camcorder in his room will do?

well the theory is chinese people have never had a good life. theyve pretty much been dirt poor for long stretches. like if you look at chinese history. out of all their dynasties i would say at least 50% they've had bad times (poor) vs good times (rich) and the peasants ...well they've always been poor. even during good dynasties it started off good and ended in failure. well fast forward to the mid 20th century under mao they're still poor. so if you always been poor and know nothing else. well you got nothing to complain about. but fast forward to post deng, jiang, hu where china hs this huge middle class they built up which is larger than the entire US population. that's over 330 million people that are now middle class. to ask or tell those people hey suckas you're going to go back to being poor... will they roll over and take it up the a** or will they say over my dead body. so two routes. that remains to be seen. the old saying goes once you had a taste of the good life you will never go back.

i always questioned US foreign policy with china... why would you do business with someone trying to kill you?

deng is rolling over in his grave. he said himself he set things up to ensure china would never see another mao ever again... sorry deng.

@namieamuro7639 I don't know if he has a script he reads off of or if he's freestyling it. If he don't like china that's his right. If it's his gaffe well that's to be expected if you're freestyling it. If he's a tool well again that's his right. Anyone can say any nonsense on YouTube he's better at covering domestic politics than overseas politics that's for sure.

@namieamuro7639 you're not the first one to point this out it seems like outsiders covering china never do a good enough job. i go back to the point of if the state department can't even do it right.. what chance does a guy with a camcorder in his bedroom is going to do. but yet here we are so many foreigners analyzing chinese politics. if they lived in china they lived here years ago and not just recently so it's like a hit or miss topic. the only thing I can say is watch those channels that show interviews or footage of chinese people actually in china crying out for help.
