  1. if i had to add one thing. whats newsom going to do about criminals that are going to take advantage of this? how do the criminals get guns if they can't pass any background check or waiting periods... i mean seriously this is classic bad apple and punish everyone for that bad apple. ok let's say no more guns and people stab each other to death and people become expert butchers and can hack 20 people to death in 60 seoncds... then what? you gonna ban knives too? let's say we ban knives. how about arrows how about sticks? people stone each other to death people then all learn supernatural martial arts and use their fists to crush each other to death... then what what if people use their cars to drive through a busy plaza with people? see how fast that rabbit hole can descend.
