this is not the whole reason but i beleive there are certain pockets of men were kind of improperly informed by either parents or family or etc that women or marriage or family will just happen for them or fall in their lap in due time. this is definitely not a good message for men. as there are men that luck out and this stuff do fall into their lap but as you said health wealth and relations. many lack one of the three or all 3. and well it's like prerequisites for a job. if you don't have the prerequisites i dont think you qualified to do the job in the first place.
