  12. salty or just different take on what work is. basically grinding at the factory production line, or what construction workers do, or people at the office glued to their desk typing away or doing something. basically for many folks working is work. you are paid to perform a task for the company that is crucial to the continued existence of the company. nothing more nothing less.

  13. an entry level googl engineer makes $150,000 a year at least. the top level engineers make around $400,000 a year. so let's pretend nicole tsai, she worked there for 3 years. supposedly she's 25. 3 years at google. assuming her take home pay was $101,739 ayear. and she only spends like half of it just for thought experiment sakes. she's got at least $50,000 in savings per year. so she got at least $150,000 in her war chest until ti runs out assuming she doesn't have other sources of income.
