  3. when the divorce rate is 50% and of the 50%, 80% is initiated from the other side... your odds aren't good to begin with. the newer figures are saying around 40% that's because marriage rates have dropped. but still the odds are just terrible. you wouldn't want to go parachuting if your parachute only has a 60% chance of opening. and of that 60%, 20% chance your parachute doesn't have holes in it.
