@DaRKHuNTeRMK even $70,000 a year in the city is like the bare minimum you're riding by the edge of your seat on that income. you need more like $100,000 to realistically have a family without sweating bullets

this is just a matter of time. your currency is only the global reserve currency if it has a strong economy, you have strong manufacturing, resources, land, etc to back it up in addition to lower debt to gdp ratios. you don't have that... than what do you really have?

since you're from 1958 whats your take on the 1960s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. i always find the older folks take on past decades more interesting than younger folks today

it's our economic system that's the problem we keep spending more htan we're producing. that's not sustainable. all these bloody conflicts have been bleeding us dry. if the US didn't get involved with vietnam maybe and i stress maybe the french wouldn't have called our bluff. why do you think eisenhower tried to keep us out of all these conflicts.. i mean sure he did the secret cia coup de tats in those other countries which is also not cool but at least he kept us out of the big stuff.
