  2. social security is dependent on a large worker base with smaller amount of retirees. with ever growing more retirees and a stagnant young worker base or shrinking young worker base... well if it's a ponzi scheme there's not enough money to funnel to the top

  5. if the united states never made credit cards easy to obtain for the working shmoes a lot of this stuff now would not even happen. oh sure there were poor people then but retiring has always been a luxury for the well off folks. nto for the poor folks. you work tll you drop that's how it always was and that's how it will be at least until they can replace you with a robot.
