i can't really say its' an excuse it's a big equation. like you have kids well you have to take care of them until they're at least an adult financially and other aspects of parenting. then you at the same time you have to take care of yourself as well financially and in all aspects of life. so it does no good if you have a kid you are broke and can't retire. at teh same time if the kid is in this world and is also not doing too good they're gonna have no one else to blame but you even if they didn't do good on their own merit. so it's like a complicated life equation. money makes things a whole lot more smoother.
