  1. wouldn't it just be common sense that whatever you earned before the marriage should be yours (wife and the husbands) then it starts from marriage and the duration of the marriage. the marriage duration itself could be pretty lucrative. teh average person lives to be 80 so if the run of the mill person gets married at 30 you still have a 50 year window of the money pool to draw from if they still want to cash out. 50% of a 30-40 year pool is pretty big.
