a lot of ww2 veterans have this thought that they knew a lot of good men they died but how come the (survivors) lived.

the issue is more nad more people are no longer medically fit to serve or pass the background checks. us draft states 18 and 26 as basically first round picks. draft can be pushed up to age 35 but let's be real her if you got to draft up to 35 you've lost already. there are so many ways to escape the draft. 1. ) leave the country 2.) medical deferrment 3.) educational deferrment 4.) conscientious objector 5.) mental illness disqualification etc most old school method t oavoid the draft shoot yourself in the foot.

replace white with any oher ethnicity and do you know how messed up your statement sounds.

we've been sacrificing military personnel since vietnam. people saw ww1 as meat grinder for soldiers. but vietnam was just too obvious.

the allies firebombed tokyo that was worse than teh atomic bombs the allies firebombed dresden which is basically a war crime the allies in the pacific collected trophy body parts of japanese soldiers and it was so bad even FDR was given a knife cutter made from a japanese soldiers arm... so the allies were not saints. it was abig company fighting another big company for dominance.
2
can you believe milley is the us army chief of staff and now the chairman of the joint chiefs... that is dangerous to have him in that position.
2
wow your military family lineage can be traced back to the french and indian wars in america?

you either die a hero or you become the villain.

stalin called them useful idiots. let's say the other side wins... did the us policians think they'll get new cushy jobs in their regime? no .. they'll get lined up and executed. actually they'll be the first ones to get executed.

the US benefited greatly from WW2. if WW2 never happened the US would at best be a regional power.

from what i an read the ww2 guys thought hte country was going to hell by the mid 1960s. by the 1970s it wasn't even the country they grew up in anymore. this was 43+ years ago....
1
