  1. it's not that hard to know where this is going. they set the threshhold for the tax brackets. you fall into that bracket you will pay that rate. rich people pay more if they don't usually with the help of tax accountants to structure their money to a certain way to have certain write offs or shift money out of hte country in certain areas. keep this in mind folks the income tax originally was meant for the rich folks we're talking the 1% of 1912-1913.... well just look what happened since. everyone paying income tax even the bottom 90% which makes no sense as they barely make any money.
