  4. if the us governemnt could not print at will or have the borrowing capacity that it did and had to rely solely on tax revenue you bet they would have to cut spending in a heartbeat. every year we are running budget deficits. the amount of spending they want is just not possibly covered by tax revenue.

  5. he's reading cue cards. he didn't write those cue cards either. the ones that really get shafted are the ones that make anywhere from $250,000 - $750,000 a year. unless you have trusts and investments taht you can depreciate or something because for your restaurant owner example. if he don't have that the rest would be taxed as earned income. and that's a lot of money

  14. sad thing about china is that this whole trickle down economics open the economy thing was what started their rise to power under deng. he encouraged people to get rich so it can bring up the lower rungs as well. and well from the 1980s-2000s it worked just fine. but then we have you know who come along and say you know what no you didn't earn that we help you made all of it and now we want it all back. well good luck in finding people to stay motivatd to make that money for you, there's nothing in it for them.

  15. well for the middle american. 20-30% of your income is taxed already. 30- 40% of your money goes to some kind of mortgage or rent already then a big chunk goes to car payment then house related expenss like insurance/propert taxes then car related expenses like insurance/repairs/maintenance/registration fee whatever is left goes to food, utilities then a chunk would go to savings of some kind or investment. what ever left after that goes to the little amount of entertainment hat we can swing for like a movie here, or a meal there or replacing some broken appliance there. i mean it's not glamorous that's for sure.

  16. right the IRS themselves stated the rich pay 40% of the taxes already. 1% pay 40% of hte taxes. i mean sometimes we gotta cut them some slack. (i stress some in case there are these people that say oh no they're not off the hook)
