  3. us gdp is 23.32 trillion us population is 332 million people so if we take every man woman child everyone is generating $70,246 per year... in economic output. according to the latest censsu there are 41.60 million african americans in the usa lets jsut say for thought experiment sake if you paid every african american reparations at 1.2 million dollars that would be 49.92 trillion dollars now if just for california it's 2.25 million african americans. same thing 1.2 mllion x 2.25 million african americans = $2.70 trillion dollars. californias gdp as of 2022 is 3.70 trillion dollars this means if every african american in california got reparations this would be 73% of the entire california gdp just to give you guys a different perspective california annual tax revenue is $3.8 billion for 2022-23. if california were to just pay out reparations based on tax revenue it will take 710 years california to my knowledge unlke the federal reserve can not print money out of thin air state governments receive revenue from income, sales, and other taxes; charges and fees; and transfers from the federal government. so long story short california government if they ever do go through with this will need to raise taxes across the board, raise fees basically suck the tax payers dry. and we're talking about people that haven nothing to do with it. you gonna blame the hispanics? you gonna blame the asians? you gonna blame basically majoirty of people that had nothing to do with your ancestors? because all you're doing is you're gonna force more people and companies to gtfo out of california. if they go with 200 million dollars well let's just say that would be $450 trillion dollars the global gdp is 88 trillion dollars it would take the whole world 5.11 years to pay for 2.25 million people their reparations. and you will see every other country out there cut ties with the usa as i wonder would you like to deal with someone that is making you pay for them when you never met them never know them and have nothing to do with them

  7. i too crunched the numbers and if california were serious about this they would have to jack up tax revenue across the board. from properyty tax, fees, income tax, raising bonds etc and it would basically kill california even more. if california is a zombie now... i don't know have a metaphor for something worse than acorpse
