  1. that was just a bonus we got off the gold standard in 1971 by 1979 wages have been reported to be flat no growth. inflation was rising to double digits. people had no choice but work or starve... so our money was being inflated away to oblivion starting at this point. and on top of that immigration, automation, switching over to a majority service economy.... hmmm

  11. let's say you live in or near a metro area. a house lets say avg is $550,000 while your income is only $40,000/yr. (im not even talking about after tax income) you would need to work 14 years withou spending a time on anything else to buy that house... we're not even talking about cost associated to keeping teh house... yeah the math is not adding up

  12. we're living in a casuality loop the elites only are about us making replacement rate which we aren't. yet they know things cost too much to prohibit population growth organically but they don't care... it's weird. like you're going to kill off your golden goose when you need the golden goose.

  13. i would argue if you want to be sure you can foot all hte bills + stay at home wife + 3 kids with no financial burdern period you would need min. $250,000 a year. we all have to factor in taxes so your $250,000 a year would be $175,000 a year after taxes.

  21. before it was bad enough when the fed target inflation of 2% every year and people essentially have had flat wages since the 1980s. now inflation is "officially" 9.1% and our wages are still flat. boy oh boy that is very bad math. it means if we have a decade of inflation you will get wiped out.
