  1. societal liberalization, industrialization and urbanization along with rising cost of living or currency debasement. there if you want to sum up why birth rates have gone down it's becaues of these things. if you look at the us birthrate charts it's been going down since the 1960s... this was pretty much in the planning long time ago when the powers to be said there are too many people. the only way to ensure stable birthrates is basically only achieved with agrarian societies.
