  4. from what i can gather if you want to minimize injuries you would need to slow down, use proper form, wear those pads protection braces etc but that's just me. if that even helps at all. no way you're gonna make it to 65 in teh trades if you're still doing hte grunt work

  8. california has always had so much red tape and moats into getting into any good job. they want to maintain going rates so what better way than to add in more regulations.

  9. stem and trade services are already very expensive. they know demand outstrips supply by a huge margin just to have demand and supply to be in a equilibrium would take decades assuming we start funneling people into stem/trades today

  10. company training programs or apprenticeships. there has to be other avenues to education other than just go to college. the us education system was better at preparing workers for the jobs of at least today in 1963... than 2024. can you believe this sh-t

  12. forget american born that can't compete. even other foreigners from other countries can't compete with mexicans at their going rate. people used to say you cant compete with chinese on their labor costs now ... even the chinese aren't comparable anymore. mexico had a similar thing to hte US exclusion act back in the early 20th century complaining about chinese workers undercutting theri people... can you believe that the shoe is on the other foot now.
