  8. i know right all of this lonelieness thing goes back almost 100 years if we're talking about being talked about in media but it just got worse over time. like being lonely in the 1950s... that's like rookie stuff compared to today.

  9.  @silentwitness536  i was referring to what we call loneliness today which is lack of "friends" or human contact. which was not athing in the 50s even with the ww2 vets. i can bet most of them had more than enough friends to keep them preoccupied outside of work.

  10. you have to keep in mind that the world population was less in ww2 compared to today. and even then in ww2 3.76 percent of the world's population perished between 1939 and 1945 (70–85 million people perished of the 2.3 billion (est.) there are 7.88 billion people as of 2021 we would need to lose 296,288,000 people globally to match that kind of attrition rate.
