  1. it's a cycle. if gen z are really flooding back into trades than this will drive down wages. supply demand. everything is dictated by supply demand. then people will go back to something else when the wages in trades aren't as high as people hope they were. im just surprised that the education planners or society planners never factored in continuity of service. old people will retire you will need someone to take their place so they caused this shortage in teh first place by not funneling enough people into the trades. even i could've seen this coming like if you always needed a flow of xyz than why not maintain that flow of xyz
