  1. depends boomers are 1946 to 1964 so if we use 25-30 as traditional peak childrearing years. oldest boomers started having kids 1971/1976 midd boomers 1955 started having kids 1980/1985 youngest boomers 1964 1989/1994 so really when people say booomers are parents of millennials they're really talking about the mid /young boomers not the older cohorts. of course there are people that had kids later or multiple kids and the younger ones being millennials etc.

  2. apparently the child birth rates in the usa was trending down for decades and cost of everything associated with living has been going up for years. so i think it has a correlation with one another. when people feel pinched financially in industrialized nations they're just going to have to make the hard choices. also with things in the future on the horizon like real genuine AI not this chat gpt stuff along with robots that have human like dexterity ... where companies straight up are telling us they don't need our labor anymore... why would you really want to doom a child to this existence. i mean unless we have star trek level post scarcity stuff than that's a different story. but if we still hvae to use money and work for a living where that is also being in question that is a tough sell.

  3. boomers are 1946-1964 so mid /young boomers are the parents of millennials not counting peple that had kids later in life or multiple kids younger being millennails etc.
