  3. from what i read there were 1950s wives that had to work too so the husband would come home and see meal on the kitchen counter they would need to reheat their food themselves.

  4.  @fluttercoat3899  i know i was just trying to say it wasn't all roses and sunshine. the 50s guys didn't just sit around and do nothing. they handled reparis of the house. they kept the garden yard immaculate. they washed the car made sure it was presentable at all time. if needed like i said if the wife had to work. they had to clean and vaccuumm too do the laundry everything.

  12.  @O_ORashad  that's what i was alluding to small companies become successful they become bigger they become bigger more powerful they eventually buy up smaller startups or collude with legislators to enact more barriers to prevent new people from entering.

  13. i don't get why people always assume 1950s wives were being abused left and right. they take the minority of cases and make it seem it was like hte majority when you darn well know it's a lie.
