with central banking intervention... probably we won't even see a housing bubble to burst we can see a melt up.

because .... do you want to pay rent for the rest of your life. rent is typically floating it can go up or down but most likely up. mortgage payments are typically fixed. property taxes you would have to pay as long as your own maintenance and the insurance. but people like lashanda says it's typically generational wealth which is good. many rich folks to this day still love real estate. they don't make more land. that's for sure.

the only way to combat higher house prices is 3d printing housses. or we have to popularize mass production houses whre you just assemble them like legos.

they would never do that because raising interest rates means the government would have to pay more to service its debt.... that's a big no no. if they raise it to just 4-5% range a big chunk of the federal budget would just go to interest payments. and nothing else.

at this point the only thing that could salvage this is they build high rise apartments and you can buy that apartment unit and it would have to be affordable like less than $100,000.00 to attract people.

@t-bone9239 basically all democratic countries have some form of nimbyism. the only place for sure you won't encounter it are in totalitarian countires... but i'm pretty sure you wouldn't wnat ot live there.

bingo you just nailed the entire issue too much money chasing not enough goods/services. i knw economists will just say that's too simple of an explantion but if we boil it down it's classic inflation caused by too much printing.

housing bubble only burst if mortgages cn abe defaulted in masse an the banks don't step in.

don't bother asking at this point no one knows it's a 50/50 propbability at best.
