  1. the NE usa is one of the oldest regions in the USA also one of the most dense population. so supply/demand really applies to them the worst. NE usa has it all culture, entertainment, proximity to europe, also a lot of the most important business sectors are all there. also the political connections to washington DC means a lot of wealthy people will be living there by default.
