  1. we like to think we're progressing as a species and we're talking about peace and unity and all this. but at the end of the day whomever has the guns makes the rules. or in this case whomever has the nukes makes the rules. call it barbaric or archaic or what not. but that's the reality. if hte us does not have its current military or economy or nukes and it tried to impose its will on to other countries it would get laughed at and wrecked at the same time by countries that do take their military/defense, spheres of influence seriously
