there's two types of immigrants (i am referring to the ones that came here with all the documentation) the skilled stem professionals that come here and go straight to good paying jobs and maybe eventually become business owners this group are doing just fine and more than pay for their own retirement. the non skilled group meaning the ones that had little to no education in their respective countries that came here to work from bottom up. for those that were not able to go up the career ladder this group is pretty much..... more likely than not screwed and will rely on help from their adult children.
