  1. actually your ancestors left china for various reasons but usually its either political or economic most common reason why people left china in the mass migration from the 19th century up until the 1980s was because of 1.) famine 2.) lack of economic opportunites 3.) political instability 4.) lack of social mobility if china didn't have famines , they had political staibility , and more economic opportunities and more social mobility there would be far fewer reason for chinese to leave in the first place
