the problem is that technological innovation moves at a pace that will require constant continuous learning. so it's getting so crazy that a student that just graudated their knowledge is already hitting the obsolete phase....

you know the answers.... probably not. you're right the usd is so strong it's actually a hindrance to exports. who can afford your over priced stuff... its not americans want high paying easy jobs. they just want jobs that pay fair that could afford them to live. then the unions got too blasted greedy.

i know right amercian corporations can just come and go as they please. they just offshored from the 1980s onward and now that they got outplayed by china they're coming back to the us like nothing happened. F them

jobs will never pay well on the average anymore due to huge glut of available labor. who will pay high wages when i can get random xyz to do the job and accept the lower offer that is being offered.

baby boomers were very fortunate in the sense that when they started on the job in the 1968 (assuming they started after college) the WW1 generation were mostly out of the work force/passed on by then. the inter war generation were on their way out. (the ones too young for ww1 and too old for ww2) the ww2 generation were by tihs point already in senior management positions as they would be in their 40s+. the silent generation was a small cohort (the gen x of their day) compared to the ww2 generation. so this basically left them huge vacuum to move in by 1968 - 1986 and also people retired earlier during this time period or didn't live as long as many ww2 died from liver disease.
