(say pre sexual revolution ) if you didn't have a birth defect, were normal intellect, normal charisma/social skillss, physically presentable (again average looks etc), had a career, made normal money or decent money (keyword here is financially stable) you should not have an issue having a spouse. now would they be all over you that's debatable but it was that if you were average you had a decent chance of finding a mate. now fast forward to today... due to the internet social media etc mass media it has indoctrinated teh massses thinking this is the bar. anything lower is rubbish

  29. at that level of income that they're talking about you're not just taking care of the house by yourself you will most likely have maids and house cleaners helping. they are talking about making $500,000 a year + i don't think i ever seen/heard/read about anyone making that much money living in a house smaller than a 6 bed room that's still cleaning their own house on their own time or taking care of the kids without help.

  33. regarding beauty... you can blame modern entertainment, photograph, videography etc. before pictures, or movies, or this kind of technology was even a thing. people's standard of beauty were shall we say more in line with whats natural. at one point in time just having good teeth and having clear skin made you "hot" lol
