  1. silent gen - the vanguard cohort they're on their way out boomers - age 60 - 78 the current senior age generation which a lot of them are still working if they're in the corporations these are in the upper echelons of the positions. gen x - age 48 - 59 the middle generation in the middle /upper manager level millennials/xennials - age 28 -47 the prime working age generation in the supervisory /lower manager levels gen z - age 14 - 27 the last generation where the youngest are in high school and the oldest are in the lower levels of corporate gen alpha - age 1 - 13 the current child generation can any of you imagine any point in time where 6 generations are existing side by side at the same time?
