  1. because they have been just pouring into our brains that house prices only go up in the long run and if you look atthe charts from 1800 to now that would be true in teh long run house prices only go up but that's because our dollars are worth less as years go on this is by design.

  2.  @worndown8280  blackrock will just buy it all up. things have changed a lot since 2011. we didn't know hedge funds and investment companies are buying houses now too... back in the day htey only dabbled in commercial properties.

  4. basically a house should not exceeed 5x median annual salary... anything past that and that's a signal the housing market is out of whack.
