you are now in the top 10% of the country because being a homeowner now puts you in the landlord class.

@amrice62 most people that own houses have a house worth $500,000 and up some places worth $1 million. Basically anyone that owns a house is sitting on a golden egg

problem is no one can see the future if we jsut go off of hte long term trend house prices are going up. they aren't coming down. maybe acorrection here and there in the long trend it's going up. houses that sold for $10,000-20,000 back in the 1950s that same house is selling for what like $500,000 these days? you get the picture.

because the interest isn't high enough... you want housing prices to go down sure jack it up to 20 %. im sure housing prices will go down in time.

actually with hyperinflation you can pay off your mortgage in record time as your mortgae doesn't go up with inflation. while your thousands of dollars become millions of dollars but every other aspect of your life is gonna suffer.

what they're trying to distract us is that we may not have the same conditions as 2008 but another financial crisis could emerge just something else different. of course we'll never have the same crisis twice. but another crisis is not out of the question. america is in a ultra debt bubble. with multiple bubbles all signalling red alert.
