  2.  @JamesRichardson3rd  colleges are sitting on endowments so big they couldn't even spend them all in a century even fi they went on a spending binge. im pretty sure they can give students subsidized tuition if they felt like it.

  9.  @mrvwbug4423  actually millennials arent' that big since you would need to look at the baby boomer generation. 76 million births in the United States from 1946 to 1964. millennials 72.24 million. this means that each baby boomer couple just averaged 2 kids. the ww2 generation was estimated to be around 30 million people. so the ww2 generation averaged 4+ kids per couple.

  11.  @andrewquint7962  the united states is reallly 50 countries. each state is essentially a country. for the us to break up you would need half the states to join up and the other half to join up the opposite end. the federal government would be no more at least in its current incarnation. the us armed forces would breakup as each state would gobble up military assets in its borders. this would make commerce next to impossible. certain states that require food from the agricultural states could in theory be starved out. oh yeah back to your premise. cyber war. economic warfare. insurgency strikes. the us knows if it breaks up, russia/china/canada/mexico willl take a piece of the us themselves.
