  1. the purpose of clubs and the reality of the clubs at this time do not match. when something that was designed for something no longer fulfills it's original purpose well that thing is going to be put out to pasture

  2. majority of people aren't going to be able to afford big houses (big house being 5 bedroom +) majority of homes purchased in america are 2-3 bedrooms 1-2 bathroom. and even these are costing a lot of money. people want each kid to have a room to reduce fighting and also the toys to keep them sedated. that's modern parenting in a nutshell.

  3. i would argue the education system is not helping with training hte next generation of trademsen . think about it k-12 no vocational training. college is not vocational training. you have to go to vocational school for this and they're not exactly easy to find. or that much cheaper than traditional college. you could do an apprenticeship but again not something that's easy/fluid to get into from school. so either we make vocational training part of k-12 or automatic extension of k-12 or something has to really change because the career path or ladder to become tradesmen is just not intuitive /fluent.

  4. i don't know why any time someone brings up hey what exactly do women do on their end for the duties it's always utter silence. like this isn't the first time but any kind of discussion where ok one side of duties is brought up but the other side ... nothing. im just talking about balance here. like should everything balance?
