a lot of these small businesses are propped up by big companies around that funnele money to them

you don't need a gym to work out. have some weights at home. do calisthenics, go jogging or bike riding. or swmming. a gym is a luxury good. never a necessity. and also i do not think any more government intervention is a good idea. it always causes more harm and unintended consequences than them solving anything. this whole mess was caused by so much cheap money printed by the fed.

well they think money grows on trees.

zero interest rate policies for a decade if not more. printing so much money that 1/3 of all currency in existence in us history we printed in just 2 years. government stimulus bailouts caused massive market distortions.

if he set up his company properly in a s corp he could easily have split his finances from business and personal. his personal finances will be fine if he saved and invested properly. his company goes bankrupt but he'll think of something next.

sorry logistics warehousing manufacturing you still need someone there... what youre proposing is all admiinstration staff can work from home. but the people needed to operate the machinery and such and ship goods have to be there. retail service... in person.

i too think it's sad your business is propped up by zombie corporations.

@Kevin Souza The average salary for a Software Engineer is $106099 per year in Seattle, WA.
1
@Kevin Souza it's those same tech people that are forcing out the locals. They're overpaid in the sense for what the silicon valley people show they work like 25 percent of the day and get paid six figures..if they were working non stop having lunch at their desk putting in 14 hour day 7 days a werk then we'll start talking about overpay
1
@Kevin Souza I don't say tik tok j was saying software tech people posting on YouTube... I am thinking long term because everyone is getting priced out of everywhere right now if you have not noticed the general high cost of real estate in all areas cross the us from small towns to mid size cities to metro areas...Californians new yorkers washingtonians etc all moving all over the place driving up real estate prices.
1
@Kevin Souza oh I know about those other groups but tech workers always rubbed me the wrong way and this topic was focused on tech workers I'm solely focusing just them of course I know about government scarcity and foreign money and big corporations but since they own all the political and money power I and the other 95 percent of people could point fingers at them too but since they are so powerful there not much we can do since tech workers are are notorious for working at home moving to a low cola and bringing their high cola money driving up local markets too so if you don't think they have any contribution in all this than we are all missing a few pice of the puzzle but primarily I hate with. Seething passion group or groups of people that sold this country own the toilet and that covers a lot for groups

@Lost1nTranslation it's a balance something to go down you need to jack something up.

with infinite break time.

i know you're making tech to replace yourself eventually lol
1
@Kevin Souza well the local populace deal with conggestion, rising property market prices being priced out ,and general inflation. so all this slush money being forced out is good. let's get real only the local governments were benefitting and putting the money intheir slush funds. you the residente get no benefit unless you directly work in these outfits.
