  12. people don't really understand that ICE is the same as any other federal law enforcement agency. people normally know it's a bad idea to interfere with local city police officers when carrying out their duties. obstruction of a peace officer is basically jail time. people know not to mess with the feds when carrying out their duties. FBI, CIA, DEA, ATF etc no one will f-ck with them. but for some reason people do not equate ICE as federal law enforcment agency.

  18. i heard or read that lapd/lasd is seen as a stepping stone to better law enforcment opportunites because lapd/lasd have their own police academies you go there get your certificate work 5 years to build up your accolades then jump ship to another police department or move your way up to state or feds. it's getting rarer for a career LEO to actually finish their career with the LAPD/LASD anymore.

  24. this is a good question if you do try to intervene what can they charge you with? i heard that for example in democrat run areas (or at least reported) that if you as a bystander or samaritan tried to intervene you get charged.... so i wonder if people don't want to intervene because hey if i do something i'll get hit with a citation or fine or even a misdemeanor... it's very smilar to say china for example where the citizenry has ingrained in them with i don't want any trouble and flee at the sign of any kind of disturbance or conflict. don't want to get involved with law enforcement.

  33. well no the protestors are also restricting the normal operation of the school and restricting people access to their classes and to tend to their business. if your protest is interfereing with me getting an education it's over. people don't really understand how lawful protests are supposed to be. you are holding your signs and chanting your slogan but not blocking anyones path.

  37. for some reason people aren't afraid of getting a mark in their permanent file like a criminal record is no joke if you are ever a felon even a misdeanor you can't hold elected office, your credit will take a hit, a number of jobs with a security clearance you can't get, and if you want to immigrate forget about it etc.
