  1. yeah i find it laughable that soldiers/sailors/airmen today have as much if not more ribbons/medals than chesty puller or audie murphy like wtf. a fresh lieutenant now has more ribbons/medals than dwight eisenhower for pete sakes.

  2. a lot of medals and ribbons post korea are pretty much meaningless. if you don't have a MOH, DSC, silver star, or a bonze star, legion of merits or distinguished service medals... it don't really matter much. they call them fluff medals/ribbons.
