keep in mind here this goes for the world. they don't employ you out of the kindness of their hearts. they pay you for your time and labor because there's no alternative if there is a cheaper more efficient and better ROI alternative than human labor they will always go for the cheaper alternative. so long story short if they can replace you they will replace you. we are entering an era where the elites can finally decouple from human labor because they know the writing on the wall wages just keep going up they don't come down. paying your health insurance is costing more. your 401k. whatever remains of yoru vacation sick leave benefits etc. apparently even low wage workers are too expensive. they know even in cheaper emerging markets they will experience the same thing down the line give it 50 years.

@ffletch5277 i say 2015 is when that's the first year in xi tenure or second year. if you were going by how things were going under jiang and hu... you would think ok nothing to really overthink about. but when xi took over... the beginning cracks were starting to show.

@Rusty_Gold85 you would think the most basic thing for any military is the top brass as this campaign. mission objectives are set. you the soldiers, sailors, and airmen make it happen and I don't care what you do get it done. they don't even allow for that?

regarding the queue hair. it's not a han chinese haircut. it's a manchu hair style. now what "function" it served is debated but the manchus like the mongolians were horsemen and apparently by tying their hair into a queue and shaving the front would keep the hair out of their face while they were riding their horses... take it with a grain of salt. but hte more official explanation is Manchus and the Qing Emperor himself all wore the queue and shaved their foreheads, so that by following the queue order, Han Chinese would look like the Manchus and the Emperor. so there you have it. the han chinese didn't have a choice unless they wanted to be monks. it was a pain in the a** to maintain and of course it was cumbesome. if you were in physical labor jobs you had to basically tuck your queue around your neck to make sure it didn't snag on something.

it's always like that in many sci fi. robots are doing what they were designed or built to do. humans are jealous that they can't compete and sabotage robots robots/ai decide we're not worth the trouble...
