now china rising so fast may be seen as a good thing on the surface level. but i read that sometimes rapid change and rapid industrialization can be a double edged sword. kind of like building something without solidifying the foundation. as people have said china has done in 70rs what it took the west around 200 years. the industrial revolution started in the west around 1760 and we know the west didn't fully "mature" until around 1950. so more or less 200 years. basically star that burns the brightest burns out the fastest.
