  4. peter gibbons from office space and dfens from falling down are in different spots in their life. d fens is middle age lost his job, lost his family, in financial straits. peter gibbons was 28 years old, has no family, some savings. peter in early part of hte movie jokingly said he didn't know how many more days before he went postal.
