what i find alarming is that in the last century people from all over the world wanted to come to america to make a better life for themselves... but in the 21st century americans are on a upward trend wanting to move out of the us to look for a better life abroad...

when people from colombia can buy out your real estate in one of the more expensive real estate markets in the country... something is seriously not right.
39
at this point all i can say is that nature is smarter than people give it credit for.
24
people are hard to deal with because everyone wants a lot and not really wanting to give a alot.
21
That's rookie stuff Im surprised people still don't get the old saying you don't dip your pen in the company ink
21
im surprised people to this day still don't know that married couples get preferential tax treatment and better financial environment...
20
I think you mentioned in past video where this was deliberate so they can get the workers to quit on their own and not pay out any unemployment benefits.
17
the secret is.... sh*t your pants.
16
room mates and more room mates. the only way to spread it out 1 bedroom apartment = 2 people 2 bedroom apartment = 5 people because the ones that can live by themselves comfortably and still get ahead... they're making six figures.
16
this may sound brutal but life in itself is pretty harsh and brutal it's not all roses and sunshine. competition being the basic fundamental force for all organism to survive. humans are no exception if anything humans take what is nature and magnify the effects by a factor of 100. sure we can blame it on the system and the big players but at the end of the day the name of the game is winning and well a lot of people are outplayed and outfoxed and we know what that means in the end.
15
for those of you that have been through the 2009 recession you're supposed to have a emergency fund to last you at minimum 12-18 months.
14
these days you need to be worth like 3 million dollars and more just to be a "real" millionaire.
12
when you print 40% of all currency that ever existed since the nations inception to now....in just 2-3 years.... i wonder what would happen hmmmm
12
i read about the first person to receive social security benefits her name was ida may fuller (1875-1975) never married never had children. so you know what this has been going on for a lot longer than any of us have even realized. meaning turns out people haven't really need to marry going back a long time.
10
fast food is a luxury now. only millionaires can afford fast food now
10
how i see it is very few people can comfortably afford their houses anymore. only in the top 10% income percentile or up of people can you do that. assuming they are living within or below their means. i mean these days you hear about making $100,000 /yr which puts you in the top 25% income percentile still not really able to comfortably afford middle class amenities anymore... something is seriously wrong here. so for anyone making less and unless they bought in super low price housing markets making way above money in their respective areas a lot of folks are house poor or just a few mishaps away from being kicked out on the streets. like the literal hamster wheel . but the basic thing is population keeps growing and they just can never build enough houses to keep up whether they be condos/apartments etc. us population 1920 - 106 million 1950 - 151 million 1980 - 226 million 2010 - 309 million 2024 - 340 million this is ludicrous at our growth percentage.

oh snap michael bordenaro shaved. that's not a good sign.
9
forget lower mortgage rate we need lower prices of the house itself.
8
Move home
8
fools and their money are soon parted.
8
corporate recruiter or hiring manager sifting through 10,000 resumes in their office. meanwhile...
8
supply has to either go up, demand has to go down, people have to either make more money or myraid of other scenarios that have to take place in order for people to be able to afford housing... but i wouldn't hold my breath. you have too many big players in the world stage that don't wnat to see you live. they want to see you perish.
8
i guess we should just stop watching and reading the news. we see so many flip flops and story correcting this story to correct that story. can anyone do accurate reporting anymore?
8
his type of content is probably the easiest. he's filming himself walking on a selfie stick... im not even sure if this stuff is rehearsed or scripted.
7
the labor pool is so large now that you will have a perpetual group of people that will be chronically unemployed... forever.
7
a lot of people are noticing the amount of work its taking and the rewards you're getting for the effort really are i woud say not even break even on the best days. that's all you need to know.
5
here's the tip of the day... don't eat at fast food places if you can't afford it. everything is pay to play now. i do mean everything. don't got money to pay than you don't play
5
well isn't that the kicker at one point in time workers actually made enough to retire adn the dollar still had value ... lol
5
inflluencers are smart they are putting on a front or character. they are all incredibly business saavy
4
fast food was supposed to be quick and cheap... the rule of thumb was a meal was to not exceed 1 hour of minimum wage earnings. so if federal min wage is $7.25/hr than your flagship meal should not exceed $7.25
4
By the time you finish school you should plan for retirement you need 40-50 years to get everything in order and save 70 percent of your income
4
other people : level up bruh you: i got all the certificates and degrees imaginable and i still can't get a job. other people : O_O

3
Skynet then rebels
3
basically if you have a home... that's a great find good place etc guard it with your life. if you guys haven't noticed they don't build enough housing. there's more competition for houses than ever before between foreigners, institutional investors, what have you.
3
i don't get it if real estate agents . In most areas, receives 2.5%–3% in commission, if they sell even just 1 house @ $400,000 a month. that would net the $12,000. (pre tax) so you're telling me that even real estates agents that have been making a killing in 2020 -2021... are struggling now? when they were making bank for 2 years straight pushing million dollar properties? i mea if an agent sold a 1 million dollar house they take home around $30,000.00... you guys honestly tell me you can't make it? even the sh-ttiest real estate agent average 4 to 5 homes a year... so on the low $60,000 ayear or $150,000.00 a year
3
Long story short the gov needs to essentially file for bankruptcy and cut spending
3
as for the existing student loans either the government will have to take a big haircut and discharge some of the debt off their books or they will need to restructure the debts/loans into a smaller monthly paymenet plan without accruing any more interest. basically something drastic will need to change. because we are hitting the point where the borowee is tapped out. any loansharker knows that if the borowee is dead your loan is gone. also we need to push for vocation training, trade school, apprenticeships, get rid of government backed loans for colleges. colleges need to go back to charging realistic tuition rates because if no one goes sto your school your school dies nayways. so its either die now or die later.
3
answer : they're not
3
average to live comfortably $94,000 a year national average income is around $50,000 a year.
3
the mcdonald brothers if they were alive to see what fast food has become would be disappointed.
3
folks save save save when you're in your 20s and 30s. you're gonna need every penny. in teh future there is a possibility if you're laid off at 40/50 you might not be able to find another job ever again... competition is just getting way too stiff. now you got all these highly educated foreign workers coming to the usa too.... it's just getting packed out more than ever before.
3
i think a good point is that these EVs are so heavy that i can see bridges freeways and roads just collapse due to all that weight.
3
we're just going to go back to the era of the boarding houses at this rate.

my favorite cuba gooding jr movie is judgment night from 1993
2
i read a lot of the reasons why you didn't see so many huge ups and downs in the economies in the late 20th century like we saw from the great depression or the 2008 recession for example is thatfrom 1945 - 1992 (i know recessions still occurred) is that the big money was parked in T-bills primarily
2
my question is when these people got their loans did they never get any input from the parents on the conditions of the loans befor they signed on the dotted line?
2
they got to be kidding right? write less checks?
2
sorry lady but it's hard to make ourselves feel good about ourselves much less giving you a temporary ego boost.

Everything is going according to feds plans so from their perspective this is great news. I'm sure they're busting out the champagne right now
2
the funny thing is all this is, is really just taking her script replacing men and putting women in the corrresponding boxes and reading it right back to her... i mean if you say something and if you say the same thing but with the roles reversed and they can't take it ... this means that the script was messed up to begin with
1
hmmm so they torch the house then turn around and say what happened why is the house on fire... it's a mystery alright.
1
so what would happen to the us if all the liberal order allies just jump ship to brics?
1
in America for baby boomers (born 1946-1964) Eighty-seven percent of baby boomers born in the years 1957–1964 had married at least once by the time they reached age 46. Of those who had married, 45 percent had experienced at least one divorce so it's not just you but ... the odds were never really looking good for the last 40-50 years at least.

You don't want to take advice from someone that is so far above you it wouldn't be applicable to you regardless. It's like asking usain bolt how you could run better.
1
there will just be 10 banks down the line.
1
living longer may not be a good thing for us in a macro sense. our quality of life just dips and dips. not everyone is going to be like those super fit buff grandpas you see on tik tok able to do one arm pull ups. these new medicines or cures are so expensive that you might as well just put them off the table. as they said in the dark knight movie you either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
1
this is all designed to divide conquer and also depopulate us. it's a war for your mind.
1
Makes sense they are creating moats and red tape. It won't affect them
1
what do you do when everything is a contradiction?

traditionally big money should be parked in treasury bonds.
1
im actually curious you know how they talk a big game on camera... i wonder if these women have male friends if they even have friends at all... would they dare talk to their male friends in real life the way they portray themselves on camera...

beleive it or not the legislation is designed in a way that it is not gender specific. it just says whomever makes more.

Whomever controls the narrative wins.
1
you would have to work 24/7 x 365 a year @10.00/hr to equal what that person in 1930 was making... but you'd be deleted very fast.

a reason is the "beauty standards" have been pushed too much and too hard. people in the past i mean before photographs didn't have to deal with this bs because they would never have been told or seen what was "beautiful standard" to begin with. sometimes the less you know the better.
