3 producers of a product all increasing the price of their product at the same moment and same rate. isn't an agreement in a oligopoly that artificially increases the prices illigal? these manufactures basically have an monopoly in their hands. a monopoly on a necessary product, that can't be substituted by other products and consumers have no choice but to buy. this doesn't seem very legal to me... it's like only having 2 companies selling food and they increase the prce at an alarming rate at the same time. "no money? oh you don't have to buy food. oh you'll starve? better go buy some food then!"
