@Redmanticore You can not reform the capitalist state. You can demand that criminal cops be jailed and win a demand like that but civilian review boards and more training will not change the real sources of violence the underlying irreconcilable class conflict. Only a socialist revolution like that lead by Fidel Castro can change and bring about a new man, new women and build a society based upon human solidarity.

@hanamlchl A coop is not socialism. plus don't they pay something like 8x the lowest paid to the CEO. It's attempt to run another New Lanark by Robert Owen. It's not abolishing private property. It ends up competing in a capitalist market both within and without Spain for capital, customers and suppliers. At best its a mini Yugoslavia worker owned enterprise. It doesn't even control a whole geographic area which would necessarily include social costs. No reason to do voluntary labor with a 8:1 highest to lowest wage ratio. If anything it was set up as a sop to the defeated Spanish Republic which the Church had opposed.
