Telling people that the bosses need to lower wages is the worst thing you can do. Let the asshole in the video go tell his boss at the University that he wants lower pay. The fact that they call themselves the Empire and Golden state shows they got the dough.

@SgtJoeSmith Where are they in CA on home golf courses?

@Vextos1 No the bosses just don't hire without a seeing profits ahead. They replace skilled labor with unskilled labor first. They don't need people who can think. They need people who will do what they are told and like it. If they needed thinkers they'd have the government paying for more education. They want everyone to be a wage slave. Once you wake up and realize your a human being with self worth you become an enemy of the state.

@Brilliant Chaos Lets take things into our own hands and fight back with union power. They problem is letting the rich have everything. They are always going to fix the system for themslves as long as we don't start speaking up for ourselves and demand we get instead of taking the asshole in this video's advice and go begging for lower pay.

Chris Ammar All that shows is that capitalism is a failed system. Nor enough work cut the work week with no cut in pay. Close foreign military bases and build homes and schools with the money saved.

@libertyfive7241 Your full of shit no boss is s socialist unless he's a National Socialist like Hitler. Which is probably your goal.

@libertyfive7241 Long live the 1919 Hungarian revolution down with the monarchy and the Habsburg scum. The arch Duke got what he deserved.

@metroidmayhem8463 Small business aren't entitled to a profit anymore than anyone else. If the can't make it that's the price of doing business. Workers shouldn't sacrifice so a boss can go home and live in a big house with maids while you live in a downtown rat trap run by his neighbor the landlord just another parasite like the bankers.

@HaHa-kl3hx Do you shop at small business or do shop for lower prices at Walmart and Amazon. They've been driven out by big business like Olive Garden, Red Lobster and if you aren't shopping at WalMart your shopping at another big supermarket or regional chain store. Other than bars and liquor stores there is hardly a small business left. I buy my medicine from WalGreens, food and clothes from Walmart, Hardware Home Depot, electronics from Amazon or New Egg, gas from chains of convenience stores, and auto parts autozone. The only thing I buy from a small business is my campspot.

They all talk about how the care about small business because they don't want to pay a decent wage. They will replace you if they think it can save your wage but the always replace the skilled labor first in any business. They have to raise the capital investment if they use more machines. Amazon doesn't pay taxes because they don't have to taxes for the rich are voluntary.

You completely out of touch if you think lower abolishing the minimum wage is going to accomplish anything except create more misery. The local family farmer is squeezed out by prices. The owner passes away and then it's gone.Dead apple orchards and greenhouses covered with brush. Small town business your lucky to find a barbershop. I saw a new business open. Know what it is? A self serve automated car wash probably employees four people part time at minimum wage. .

@HaHa-kl3hx The guy in the video advocates that. This video was made four years ago things are much worse today. Going to need some kind of government jobs program and a new union movement. Just raising them minimum wage isn't going to put enough people back to work. I'm on the old man's dole so we can survive as long as we don't get sick. My sister (divorced) was a tour guide. Luckily she was 1040 all her friends were 1099 so they are screwed. The bus drivers took the buses and drove around DC in a protest.

@leviboswell9510 They lay people off and then who's going to do the work? The bosses need us a lot more than we need them.
1
@leviboswell9510 Workers need to be clubbing together. You get together decide what you want and tell the boss hey this is what we want. Once we start getting together they have to listen. The more the merrier. In retail the bosses need us now more than ever. Now is the time to strike while the iron is hot.
1
@leviboswell9510 No you're either a boss or just afraid of the bosses. We struck Westinghouse Electric in 1976 and went back with a $1 hour raise. In 1934 Coal Truck drivers in Minneapolis struck and won against the bosses open shop paradise. Minneapolis communism put food on the table. You go look at where automobiles and trucks are assembled. Most including VW and Toyota are made here.

@leviboswell9510 China is run by a corrupt communist party and is no more socialist than Sweden or Burnie "Sellout" Sanders. Cuba is the example of a living Socialist Revolution. There working people have been in control for six decades.
1
That China story is also wrong the US has a bigger GDP than China. All that nonsense is meant to pit US workers against Chinese workers for boss benefits and make them think they can't make the bosses pay out of their profit bonanza.

@leviboswell9510 British Imperialism was killing people form its very beginning with the Irish potato famine in 1847. The countries population never recovered. It's still smaller than it was in 1841. The British only finished their last religious war in Ireland in 1998 and the last famine in British India was in 1944. The British Opium wars against China to make money on addiction. The Kings ownership of the Royal Africa slave trading company. All this talk about a kind and gentle capitalism is nothing more than unadulterated horse shit.

He go for it because your boss is going to have to rise what he pays you when he hires someone else.
1
@evan4856 Your boss will make a decision as an individual. The only thing the rest of us can do is point out why he would raise, lower or leave your wage the same.
