  2. The problem with capitalist fiat currency is you either print to much or not enough. For a money economy to work than the money must circulate it can't just sit in a bank account. Capital is itself a social force that is owned privately. Talking about running out of other people's money is as silly as a taxing your way to prosperity.

The US being the center since 1945 is no longer the economic or political power it once was compared to the rest of the world. The Stalinist leadership did what they accused Trotsky of taking the Soviet Union back to capitalism.

  12.  @OliverNorth9729  The Soviet Union was NEVER intended to be a country but a federation of Socialist Republics. The whole idea of making it a country began with Bukarans theory of "Socialism in One Country." signed onto by Stalin in 1928.

Missiles could hit the US from inside the Soviet Union which is one reason Kennedy wasn't as upset with the missiles in Cuba as publicly stated. The arms race was insanity and the major nuclear powers are now entering into a new arms race. Reagan was spending like a drunken sailor right up to the end. He was talking about having a first strike capability.

  16. That is just Thatcher recalling the actions of the King Charles who took the merchants money to wage war in the country for taxes. He was executed for doing that. Never the less they put the King's son back on the thrown despite the King's son losing a second civil war. Not much compares to the stupidity of the English ruling class. The owners of English gold and silver in the Bank of London died a long time ago.
