@dandeaton6511 Blaming the capitalist is NOT the same as blaming society. Democrats are just one of the two capitalist parties. They have always have a few positions to fill where selection takes place much like the lottery those willing to do the dirty work for the bosses like the cops, finks and are used until the become a liability. The same goes for those in who are politicians or highly paid managers or small bosses. They find out who has the clout when the next economic crisis comes and it's time to cut back or when the workers can no longer stand the boss who is in charge. This is when the banker explains the facts of life to the small boss who wants a loan. He says I need collateral so promise me you capital in case you fail. Of couse the big banks and companies are too big to fail and they get bailed out while the workers take the blame for the bosses losses.

@ShadowMark474 The Cubans are the closest since they are internationalists seeking to advance the struggle for justice with a workers state. When Gorbachev was doing market reforms which lead to the Yeltsin coup and Putin's dictatorship. Fidel was doing rectification of errors explaining how the injustices of the Stalin era were never correctly dealt with how the Soviet Party became disconnected from the masses..As Fidel stated we made errors but none as great as those under Stalin where torture and crimes against socialism were committed and because we could not rely on Soviet tanks to defend the revolution from the Enemy just 90 miles away we had to pay close attention and listen to what our people were telling us.

@ManiAvila The workers develop as a class though their experience and chose their own leaders. The biggest obstacle to the workers and the socialist revolution was our own leaders in the Social Democratic and Stalinist Communist Parties. The end of the cold war was a defeat for both the Imperialist who failed to take over the world into one military command and the Stalinists who crumbled in the face of mass protest of their fake communism. Only in Cuba did you see a real revolutionary leadership meet the challenge the Imperialist presented with their threats of star wars and fake promises of ever growing material betterment under neoliberal capitalism. In Cuba the Revolutionary Armed Forces were fighting the South Africa racist regime while in Moscow Gorbachev was filling his face with Pizza for Pizza hut commercials and asking Margaret Thatcher how she planned to feed the people of London.

Few people understand money including how banks are able to create more on their books than actually is in circulation. The bank began as a safe place to store a heavy metal called gold. Today the banks play a major role along with insurance companies because so much money goes to them and investment comes from them.

@stuckinthemud4352 If I don't work where do I get the money to pay for the tax on the land? So unless I'm a Native American I'm pretty much prevented from owning any land outside of a county and state without a property tax. If you don't work for someone you have to own property. That's how capitalist can get out of doing jobs they wouldn't want to do. If you belong to a group like being a worker who pays social security tax you and your family can get paid if you or your children become disabled or old. Working or labor is part of how people make a life for ourselves. With agriculture a division of labor and class society was born slave society replaced hunting and gathering and civilization was born. Now the deliberated raising and domestication of plants and animals replaced hunter gathers need for cannibalism in times of a scare food supply.

@stuckinthemud4352 "There’s a big difference between a union that just wants better rights and a union that ultimately wants to abolish private property rights." One is lead by union militants who have historical lessons and theory on how to win a strike while the other is lead by those in the union business. That was one of the reasons the Taft Hartley act was passed. and FDR began the Red Scare in 1940. Just setting up fake company unions did not work so the bosses now needed a new way to choose who to negotiate with. When the workers begin to struggle they turn to the unions first and those who can lead a successful fight become the new leaders in elections held after the strike. .

@stuckinthemud4352 What makes you think a union that seeks to advance the rights of workers is any different than one in which at least some of the members and leaders point to the ultimate goal of the workers movement as the abolition of private property? Do you have this mechanical view of how a revolution takes place? That we have some secret plan worked out in an underground bunker somewhere? That we have a book somewhere that lays everything out that your secret police have yet to find?

@stuckinthemud4352 Sure and when the boss says "No" then what? As long as the workers think capitalism is fulfilling their needs in the long term they will not seek ways to struggle against it. The fact that large numbers of workers began cheering Donald Trump for calling it a rigged system and draining the swamp indicates a political awakening among the workers. That is what has the liberals terrified.

@chadmarx7718 With the death of Lenin in 1924 disputes broke out in the Russian Party. One reason being the defeat of the 1923 revolution in German. Lenin saw this coming and he was the first to call for Stalin's removal from his post as General Secretary saying he was rude had too much power and wasn't sure he'd always use it wisely.

@Dutchbrother07 The nation state is the organization of modern capitalist society. Each group of capitalist within its borders is in competition with others for the worlds resources and markets. This competition and the class struggle is what leads to modern wars and revolutions. .

@Dutchbrother07 Battles between the rising capitalist class with the feudal landlords and slave owners. Who were standing in the way of creating a working class of wage laborers. The feudal Emperors kings and Lords also fought wars, intermarried and made military alliances to extend thier rule.

He and Engles pay tribute to capitalism in chapter 1 of the manefesto "We see, therefore, how the modern bourgeoisie is itself the product of a long course of development, of a series of revolutions in the modes of production and of exchange." See there is your whole problem judging everything in terms of money which plays the role of the medium of exchange. Even your Bourgeois economists like Milton Friedman understand how the banks conjure up more money on their books than is in circulation. It's done by fractional reserve banking and lending money back and forth between banks. Now if you don't believe me you can play a little game on paper where you keep a running to total of what's in multiple banks which then loan money back and forth to each other and to customers who provide the initial capital and also take out loans without every exceeding the fractional reserve when making a loan. You'll see how the total of all the banks on the books assets grow beyond the orginal money that you started with. Still think bankers are rich because they are hard working?

@ulHD Who does the work now? They want to spend a lot of resources on AI so they can put more people out of work in production jobs because that's the fastest way to generate profits. Of course when they put people out of work they are making anything or getting paid so it creates a crisis, But they don't give shit because more money is going into their pockets. They just bail themselves out when things go south and hope for the best.

@dandeaton6511 Actually it a rigged system and even the bourgeois economist like Milton Friedman will admit it if you listen closely that banks create capital by lending it back and forth to each other such that it gets counted on the books of more than one bank and that they only keep a faction on deposit despite the total of the currency in circulation.

I'm included and my property like many others consists of only motor vehicles. About 30% of the population rents their home and many of those who own don't actually own it out right but instead pay a mortgage. Healthcare costs for the elderly guarantees that even the so called middle class will die in poverty on medicaid or in housing for the elderly. Most small farmers also have job to make ends meet.

Just as capitalism replaced the rule of the landowners with the rule of capital creating modern nation nation states the working class comes to power as a result of the inability of capital to solve the problems the ruling class divided into nation states in competition for the world market creates for the workers and farmers who are the true producers of all the needs of human life on earth. The capitalist are the involuntary promoters of modern industry at the same time their quest for profits leads to them organize society first by nation state for competition in a world market where trade war proceeds real war not to mention the long term tendency of the rate of profit to decline. The capitalist and their defenders are only fooling themselves with the belief that their problems have a solution within a system of private property, money creation and financial control by small groups of profiteers.

@stuckinthemud4352 Yes and now you also see why an employer would favor hiring one worker over another. One might produce more in one way and less in another. One might want more pay and another willing to accept less. Maybe you are paid according to when you punch in to when you punch out to the minute or maybe the punch card is only used to keep track of you and your expected to be at your workstation in time for the bell ringing like high school and paid according to the the ringing of bells. Same with an employer trying to figure out how long it takes to do a job and how much supervision of the workers is required. Some jobs are easy and repetitive until something unexpected happens. A breakdown stops a whole assembly line or continuous process. How long will it take for maintenance workers to make a repair. Do the production crew get sent home or the next crew phone calls saying don't come in today?
