You can grandstand about pro life, get the support from the church and pass $50 billion bailout bills for semiconductor companies who made big profits because they pay the campaign funding cost.

@luxuscarnage4828 Two parties run this country and those with the money are assured that they get their way. Hillary Clinton said abortion should be legal and rare. Legal for people like her with money and privilege and rare for everyone else. That's is essentially what it is because abortion services are already available in 90% of most counties in the US before the ruling. The number of abortions had already been in decline because of better birth control methods and medical abortion by pill is available with an online consultation. It is nothing more than pure hypocrisy that will end up hurting those who need the abortion but not the politicians can claim that their hands are tied.

@fallfire8878 Its not a question of what is good or bad. Only slavery was possible in ancient society since we had not developed the means of production and the ideas necessary to build capitalism. To advance the rights and ability of the working class as a whole abortion need recognition as a women's right. This will help workers who want to have families to put up a united front against the bosses and advance the march of the working class to state power.

Those who can't fight for the rights of other will never be able to fight for their own. You don't get any more help by taking away abortion rights. What the working people need to do is take away the power of the bosses and their government to make all the important decisions in our lives.

@luxuscarnage4828 Abortion is cheap because most are done with pills that are massed produced. The cost of carrying a pregnancy to term in the United States depends on your medical insurance. That is medical insurance that one must pay for or received as compensation as part of their job benefits. Along with medical insurance are co pays and deductibles. You can of course have your child third world style at home without a Doctor or Midwife present. With capitalism medical care is an overhead cost which the bosses seek to limit as it cuts into profits. When a worker dies the bosses need only hire another. The same is true with pregnant women. A women who dies in child birth doesn't cost the bosses or their government a dime unless she is eligible for Social Security which pays a $200+ death benefit.

The Democrats are big on promises and not much else's.
